Experience:

Sandra El. Khazen is the Head of the Legal department at Ismail Hajeir Auditing of Accounts, with over eight years of experience, she has built a distinguished career specializing in corporate, banking and dispute resolution matters across the MENA region. Sandra advises clients on complex commercial transactions and high-stakes litigation and arbitration cases, offering practical, business – driven legal solutions tailored to each client’s needs.

In her current role, Sandra leads the legal advisory team, overseeing the drafting, negotiation and review of a wide array of legal instruments, including commercial contracts, legal opinions, and litigation submissions.

She is actively involved in handling complex matters related to bankruptcy, corporate restructuring, insolvency and liquidation. Sandra also prepares comprehensive court reports and expert legal opinions in connection with ongoing judicial proceedings and regulatory filings.

Sandra began her legal journey in Lebanon, where she worked with prominent firms such as Hobeika law firm and Aziz Torbey Law firm (eptalex), handling major corporate transactions and representing clients before various judicial and arbitral bodies. Her work there earned her a reputation for her analytical depth, persuasive legal drafting, and adept handling of cross-border legal matters.

Earlier in her career, Sandra joined the Special Tribunal for Lebanon in The Hague, Netherlands, where she gained first-hand experience in international criminal and procedural law, further enriching her legal perspective and reinforcing her analytical and research capabilities.

Sandra is known for her meticulous attention to detail, strategic thinking, and results-driven approach. Clients consistently commend her ability to analyze multifaceted legal issues, develop innovative solutions, and deliver high-quality work under pressure.
